Originally from Greenwich, CT, Alex attended the University of Virginia. Before coming to KFBS, Alex was working in New York City at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Construction Project Management. In her free time, Alex enjoys cooking and walking with Luka, her English Springer Spaniel. A fun fact about Alex is that she is a dual citizen, holding citizenship in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Her dad grew up in England, and his family still lives there.
While born in Raleigh, Will grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended NC State University for undergrad and is still a loyal fan (Go Pack!). Prior to coming back to school, he worked as an equity research associate for S&P Global, advising publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). In his free time, he enjoys both trying and smoking all types of BBQ, though he will always remain loyal to NC style BBQ. One fun fact about Will is that he knows how to ride a unicycle. Caroline graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2020 with a degree in biology and chemistry. Originally from Charlottesville Virginia, Caroline’s love of real estate blossomed from her involvement in her family’s business. In her free time, Caroline enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her mini labradoodle, Poppy. A fun fact about Caroline is that prior to KFBS she was working in a veterinary hospital as a vet tech. While Erik grew up in Apex, North Carolina, he spent a few years playing hockey in Maine. He attended East Carolina University for Undergrad and majored in Construction Management. Before business school, Erik worked at his family’s Structural Steel Company in Garner NC, Phillips Iron Works. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golf and working on/riding his 1974 Kawasaki KZ400. A fun fact about Erik is that he is a certified welder. Originally from Houston, Jake began his professional journey at the United States Military Academy where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geography. While at West Point, he was a member of the gymnastics and diving teams and competed in the NCAA Championships in 2014. He honorably served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army before medically retiring due to a parachute accident. Outside the classroom, he enjoys hiking and discover trails with his spouse, Holli, and their dogs where they live in Pittsboro, NC. Born in Canada but raised in Florida, there are few places Hailey loves more than the beach! She graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Design and Minor in Urban in Regional Planning. Prior to business school, Hailey spent six years with Perkins Eastman as a commercial interior designer, working across a variety of asset types. Outside of school, you will find Hailey looking for new museums to explore, exciting places to jog with her dog, and the best places for a glass of wine. Originally from Toronto, Canada. Krishna earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph. Prior to KFBS, Krishna worked as a real estate investor for Starlight Investments and then as an investment analyst for Boardwalk, a publicly listed REIT. In his free-time, Krishna enjoys watching movies, hiking, camping, and playing poker with his friends. Greg has years of industry experience as a real estate development manager and real estate investor. Greg graduated from the US Naval Academy with a B.S. in Quantitative Economics, Hoover Veterans Fellow. He was a Gunnery and Training Officer in the Surface Warfare Community in the United States Navy. Originally from Charlotte North Carolina, John attended Washington and Lee University for undergrad. Prior to KFBS, John was working in mortgage banking at First Republic. In his free time, John enjoys skiing and shooting 20 above par. A fun fact about John is that he is a twin! Shivangi is from Delhi, India. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business studies and holds a Chartered Accountancy Certification, equivalent to a U.S. CPA. She has over five years of experience in Business Consulting at Deloitte and my family’s CPA firm before joining the KFBS community. If you’re looking for a karaoke partner or someone to spend a delightful day painting outdoors, I’m your go-to person. Also, I love jump roping and can perform over 10 variations in under a minute.
